HTML STANDARDS DOCUMENT LESSON TWO

INTRODUCTION TO HTML STARNDARDS ON LESSON NUMBER TWO(2)

Introduction

In the previous HTML lessons I have now learned more so there to get on to the next stage which was on how to make an HTML file In the chapter there where about 14 lessons. At the first stage there was this element for making the file <DOCTYPE/>. In this lesson I have now told that HTML files require certain elements to set up document properly.

How I Conducted the HTML Standards

There was the declaration which looks like this<DOCTYPE html>. This was the line of the HTML document first. To create HTML structure and content, we must add opening and closing <html> tags after declaring <!DOCTYPE html>:

<!DOCTYPE html>

<html>

</html>

Anything between the opening <html> and closing </html> tags will be interpreted as HTML code. Without these tags, it’s possible that browsers could incorrectly interpret your HTML code.

So far I have now learned two things the next stage was to make the head. On the head element <head> it contains the metadata for web page. Metadata is the information about the page which is not already displayed on the web page. In the next stage I learnt about making the title using the title tag <title>. This title tag is usually inside the head tag. In the 5th stage I learnt on how to link on other web pages which was the most powerful aspect in the html. I also learnt on how to open on opening other webpages

What I LEARNED IN THE HTML STARNDADS

I learned a lot in this section especially in the making a title and head

As now I have learned on how to follow some instructions so the difficults I face were little in the 2nd lesson . Sometimes it was hectic especially on linking my page to other web pages

What I  Disliked in the lesson

Sometimes my computer  let me down  in the time of my leeson.Power stotage was the major enemy in the lesson and also the code accademy site was  so slow to me.

CONCLUSION

I am now very happy about the the code accademy for the great work they gave us as learners
