Thanks to the internet, there are a lot of opportunities available that you can get onboard with and start making some money without needing to spend a lot of money on. In this article, we talk about businesses that you could start online for less than $100.
Believe it or not, significant businesses have been started for this amount of money or less. There are hundreds, if not thousands of businesses which can be started with just a few dollars which can end up being huge companies.
With some grit and determination, you can get the same results as well. I know you want to get into it right away, but, before we do, let me address a very important part of all this.
Mindset is Key
None of these business models will work unless you approach them with the right mindset. The most important part of the right mindset is approaching it with a belief that this does and will work. It sounds insignificant but that’s what separates 2 different people in the same field doing exactly the same thing.
The mental energy with which you approach each endeavour will have a huge bearing on whether you fail or succeed. Now that’s out of the way, let’s get into the business models you can start with $100 or less. Here is one of my ebooks on mindset download here
1. Start a Blog
This is how I personally got started in the online world after my mentor instructed me to do so. This led me to start kudaonline.com. Blogging is a great way to build a stable, long-term business that will pay you month after month for years to come.
If you are taking the traditional approach to blogging where you depend on traffic from Google, it will take roughly about 6 months to year before you start seeing significant results. You can speed this process up though by looking into other traffic methods such as Pinterest while you wait on your rankings in Google to pick up.
If you post daily on Pinterest, you can expect to see significant traffic growth within as little as a month. If you reach 5000 page views per month, you can apply for an ad service and monetise your website though ads.
Generally speaking, you can expect to make $1,000 per month from every 30,000 page views on your blog. To start a blog, all you need is a domain and hosting account. You can get both for a full year for less than $100.
2. Start a Web Hosting Business
With the number of online businesses being started daily, web hosting is a much needed service. You can make the most of this by starting your own web hosting company. Don’t worry, it’s not as technical as it sounds.
To start a successful web hosting service, you need to buy reseller hosting from a company. When you buy reseller hosting, you get your own branded store front website where you can direct your customers.
You can set your own price for hosting packages and will have a full service where you can register domains, set up emails, and even a cPanel account for your clients. You pay a monthly fee or once off annual fee and you are good to go.
There are reseller hosting packages ranging from as much as a $100 or more per month or as little as $3 per month. You can start things off the cheaper option then upgrade as your business grows.
3. Get into MLM
Before you roll your eyes, give me some time to explain. Network Marketing has received a bad reputation due to a number of reasons but this industry has created a lot of millionaires. When done right, it can give you a healthy income.
I want you to think of MLM as a business in a box where you can come in for very little money and get access to a fully set up business with systems and products that you can readily take advantage of. Robert Kiyosaki, author of the Rich Dad series of books is known for saying that if he were to lose it all, and had to start over, he would get into network marketing. There are a number of MLM businesses that you can get into for less than $100. Check out one of my training courses called online marketing for network marketers.
4. Become a Freelance Writer
Freelance writing is a business that you can start for less than $100. You may be wondering why someone would need money to get into freelance writing. To be a really successful writer, you need to have a writer’s website and an email address on your own domain.
Your $100 can go towards having your writer’s website built on Fiverr, buying a domain, and hosting it. With freelance writing, you can comfortably make $1,000 or more per month. May writers make anywhere from $3,000 to as much as $18,000 per month.
5. Website Flipping
Website flipping is where you buy or build a website then resell it at a profit. If you can build an e-commerce store on WordPress or Shopify, you can resell it for around $500 or more. You can build it yourself or have someone do it for you on Fiverr.
If you want to sell the sites a lot faster, you can charge a lower figure like $300 or $400 for it then repeat the process for another site. To make this model work, you need to research the niches that are popular on Shopify then build e-commerce sites around those niches.
As you can see, there are ways of building an online business without the need for a large budget. Any of these businesses can easily make you some really good money with an investment of only $100 or less.
As stated at the beginning of this article, the key to making any of these models work is to start off with the right mindset. Once this is in place, the sky really is the limit for you.
